If you haven’t received a polling card yet, visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to register online or call 020 8496 3000 to get a paper registration form.
Then, visit www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote to apply for a postal vote online – the deadline for this is 5pm on Tuesday, 21 April.
You will be asked for your name, address and national insurance number. You’ll also need to upload a clear photo of your handwritten signature.

Already have a postal vote?
Your postal vote needs to be renewed every three years using the same process. The council should send you a letter letting you know if you need to renew.
Don't want to apply for a postal vote online?
Head to your local library and request a postal vote application from electoral services. They will send you a paper form and pre-paid return envelope.
You can also download and print a paper form from www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-a-postal-vote, fill it out by hand, and return to electoral services at:
